Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam Tour Overview

The summer capital of Kashmir, Srinagar is situated at a height of 1730 meters above sea level. Famously known as, “Heaven on Earth”, Srinagar is located on the banks of river Jhelum .Pahalgam is famous for its scenic beauty and is the jewel of the picturesque Liddar valley located in the high Himalayas. It provides an ideal setting for activities like hiking, trekking, and fishing. It is also the starting point of the annual pilgrimage to the holy cave of Amarnath.
Gulmarg is very famous for its skiing scenes in India. This town is located on the Pir Panjal Range, which is a part of the western Himalayas. Gulmarg is home to the world's second-highest Golf Course, located at an altitude of 2650 m above the sea level.

Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam Tour Itinerary

Day 1:

Arrive Srinagar

On arrival at Srinagar you will meet our representative and transfer to your houseboat. Check in at houseboat.
Afternoon Leave for local sightseeing of Srinagar City. Visit : - Shankrayacharya Mandir, Mughal Gardens ,
Chesmashahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat Bagh(The Garden Of Bliss), Shalimar Bagh(The Abode Of Love) & Tulip Garden
during season (i.e.till April ). Dinner and Overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2:

Srinagar - Gulmarg

After breakfast proceed towards Gulmarg. Enroute you will get to see the beautiful Tangmarg town and drive ahead on
a scenic drive of 14 kilometers to Gulmarg. Arrive Gulmarg early afternoon and check in at your hotel. Later begin a
short tour boarding the Gondola cable car system (the 08 minutes ropeway, at your own cost). Descend back to
Gulmarg after an hour and later one can indulge in some horse-riding at own cost. Dinner and overnight stay in Gulmarg.

Day 3:

Gulmarg - Pahalgam (152 kms / 4-5 hrs drive)

After breakfast drive to Pahalgam via Pampore, Avantipura and the village of Bijbehara which remains famous as the
bread basket of Kashmir. We switch from the national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through the second largest
city of Anantnag. From here the road turns scenic as we drive parallelly to Lidder river flowing from the opposite
direction. Arrive Pahalgam and check-in at the hotel. Later you may plan a visit to Baisaran valley by pony at your own
cost . Dinner and overnight stay in Pahalgam.

Day 4:

Pahalgam city tour

Post breakfast visit Betaab Valley and Chandanwari (at your own cost) alternatively you may also opt for a horse riding
trip to Baisaran meadows (at your own cost). After finishing sightseeing around the mountain valley drive back to the
hotel. Dinner and overnight stay in Phalagam.

Day 5:

Pahalgam - Srinagar

After Breakfast check out and proceed towards Srinagar . Arrive srinagar and check in at your hotel. Rest of the day is
at leisure .Later in the evening one can plan shopping at nearby local handicraft market.Dinner and overnight stay at
hotel.

Day 6:

Srinagar - Sonmarg - Srinagar

Post breakfast leave for a day trip to Sonmarg. Srinagar to Sonmarg is picturesque, you will pass through some quaint
towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonmarg
you can visit the Thajwas Glacier which is around 4 kms from Sonmarg. A local taxi or pony ride has to be availed (on
your own cost) Return back to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying your day. Overnight at Srinagar.

Day 7:

Departure transfer to Airport

After breakfast check out from your hotel and transfer back to Srinagar Airport to take your onward flight.

(The identification proofs accepted are Driving License, Voters Card, Passport, Ration Card. Without valid
ID the guest will not be allowed to check in.
(Note- PAN Cards will not be accepted as a valid ID card.
(All transfers and sightseeing are as per the Itinerary/package and in case of Air Conditioned vehicles, It
will be switched off in the hills.
(The inclusion of extra bed with a booking is facilitated with a folding cot or a mattress as an extra bed.
(Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.
(The standard check-in time is 13:00hrs and the standard check-out time is 10:00hrs.
(Any kind of personal expenses (Laundry, room service etc..) or optional tours/ extra meals are not
inclusive in the package cost.
(The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied to guests posing as a couple if
suitable proof of identification is not presented at check-in.

(Please note Cancellation / Amendment request needs to reach us in writing. Any amendment received
after booking will be treated as cancellation. The Cancellation policy is as follows:

(Between 22 days to 29 days prior to departure - 50% of tour cost ( We need 50% payment as well)
(Between 16 days to 21 days prior to departure - 75% of tour cost
(Less than 15 days prior to departure - 100% of tour cost
(This policy may vary during Apr, May and Jun months, Diwali / Dussehra and New Year period and Long
Weekends will go up to 100% cancellation - After confirmation.
